Doughnuts for doctors ...Krispy Kreme is giving healthcare workers free dozens -- yes, dozens -- of their signature glazed doughnuts every Monday, starting today -- National Doctors Day -- through Nurses Week, May 6th-12th. According to a press release by the company, all healthcare workers have to do is "go to a Krispy Kreme drive-thru, tell us what you need and show us your employer badge. That’s it. Pick up some free dozens on the way to work for you and your colleagues, or maybe a free dozen on your way home to family after a long shift.”

Speaking of doughnuts …A bakery in upstate New York has found a sweet way to pay tribute to pandemic hero Dr. Anthony Fauci – by putting his face on a brand-new doughnut. Donuts Delite in Rochester found a way to print the good doc’s image on edible paper, which is attached to a doughnut coated in blue buttercream. While the doughnuts sold out almost immediately, the shop promises to make more. (Rochester First)

Virtual vacations …Being stuck inside has a lot of us dreaming for the day when we go on vacation. In an effort to alleviate some of that pent-up wanderlust, hotels around the world are live streaming their beautiful views so everyone at home can take a virtual vacation -- and dream about where they want to go when the world is healthy again.
