Shenandoah County Sheriff Tim Carter released a video statement today about an arrest the department made on June 1 in Edinburg. Since the arrest was made the original charges were dropped by the Shenandoah County Commonwealth's attorney, according to the statement, and several others involved in the original altercation have been arrested and charged. In addition, Sheriff Carter referenced two department supervisors being put on unpaid administrative leave while the original arrest was under investigation.
