You might want to start equally dividing your housework with your partner. A court in China has set a new precedent that involved a man paying his ex over $7,000 for all the housework she did in their marriage!
The court ruled that his now ex-wife should be compensated for the five years of housework she did around their home without the husband doing anything. She won $7,700 in compensation.
Apparently this ruling is the first of its kind under China's new civil code, that is aimed to better protect the rights of individuals.
