It's hard to believe, the Baby Yoda puppet in The Mandalorian cost $5,000,000 to make!
Actor Adam Pally, who's character had to punch the puppet in a scene for the Disney+ show, told Entertainment Weekly about the hefty price tag. He added that the show's creator, Jon Favreau, reminded him of it's value just before they filmed the scene.
While it seems like a ridiculous amount of money, Baby Yoda is now one of the favorite Star Wars characters of all time. Not to mention all the money Disney will make with merchandising.
