Instagram might be changing the way you see posts by removing one of its fundamental features...likes. Instead, you would see that a post was liked by a few handles "and others."
As stated by the app:
"We want your followers to focus on what you share, not how many likes your posts get," Instagram says in an in-app message explaining the change. "During this test, only the person who shared a post will see the total number of likes it gets."
This could work on a few different levels. Not only could we start to see different content on Instagram, but it might help people from obsessively checking their account to see how many likes a post has...
