The Scully Effect...
A new survey's found that women who watched The X-Files when they were younger are more likely to be in careers that involve science, technology, engineering or math.
They're calling this The Scully Effect, after X-Files character Dana Scully played by Gillian Anderson, since nearly two-thirds of the women surveyed who work in these fields admitted Scully served as a role model.
