Alex Bowen got hit with a strong Waffle House craving at 3 a.m. last week, he wasn’t going to let anything stop him. When he got, there was an employee asleep. He didn't see anyone else around and he didn't want to disturb anyone, so he decided to take matters into his own hands.
According to Huffington Post:
He headed back to the kitchen and whipped up a late-night snack for himself, documenting his culinary adventure in a Facebook post that’s since gone viral.
“Got hot on the grill with a double Texas bacon cheesesteak melt with extra pickles. When I was done I cleaned the grill, collected my ill-gotten sandwich and rolled on out...I was pretty inebriated.”
Bowen later returned to the restaurant to pay for the sandwich, and the sleeping employee was suspended for one week.
