Five kids heard that police were searching for a woman in their neighborhood and they wanted to help.
The kids grabbed their bikes and friends, determined to find the missing elderly woman with dementia who walked away from her care facility.
After a long day of searching with one of the kids falling on his bike and some dinner, the kids set back out to find the woman. Shortly that evening, they found the woman standing on the sidewalk.
The team of junior detectives called police, telling dispatchers where they found the woman. Rob Baquera with the Roseville Police Department said the dispatchers were "A little surprised to hear a 10-year-old on the other line telling us they had found this missing person."
All because of these kids, the woman was taken back home and reunited with her family.
