Amy's Pile: Taco Bell Testing Its First Vegetarian Menu This Year

It's going to be a good year for those Taco Bell fans that live a meat-free lifestyle. The company recently announced their commitments for 2019 and one of them includes providing a better experience for vegetarians.

Taco Bell has started testing its first dedicated in-restaurant vegetarian menu boards. The boards will feature some of Taco Bell's already existing vegetarian menu items like the power menu bowl, bean burritos, cheesy roll-ups, and others, plus some new, not yet specified selections being introduced later.

These menu boards are just another step for the already vegetarian-catering chain, they are one of the only quick-service restaurants to offer American Vegetarian Association certified food options. There are reportedly 8 million vegetarian combinations you can order from Taco Bell - at the same rate - the chain reports selling 350 million vegetarian items a year.
