Zach Bryan Climbs Fence in Heated Confrontation With Gavin Adcock

Things got heated at the Born & Raised Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma on Saturday, September 13, when Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock got into a confrontation that nearly turned physical.

A clip shared on Instagram shows the two country singers yelling at each other from opposite sides of a chain-link fence. At one point, Bryan, 29, can be heard saying, “Hey, do you want to fight like a man? Come open the gate,” before shoving the fence in frustration.

Adcock, 26, added his own commentary to the video, writing: “When you get death threats from Sack Cryin before you headline in his hometown,” using a mocking nickname for Bryan. He captioned the post: “Eat a snickers bro.”

In a second clip shared on Facebook, Bryan is seen scaling a barbed-wire-topped fence and lunging toward Adcock before being held back by security. Adcock walks away, escorted by a guard. Critics piled on in the comments, accusing Adcock of backing down. One commenter wrote, “He scaled a barbed wire fence … and you didn’t do s—t and hid behind security … this lil clip ain’t fooling anybody.” Adcock replied: “Had a show to play for Oklahoma. Wasn’t going to jail over that Psycho.”

The feud between the two singers has been building for months. Back in July, a 14-year-old fan left disappointed after failing to get an autograph from Bryan at his three-night MetLife Stadium run. In a now-deleted TikTok comment, Bryan fired back: “You’re not entitled after someone plays two and a half hours to a picture or a hello,” adding the NSFW acronym “GOMD.”

Adcock later weighed in on X, criticizing Bryan for his reaction: “If you can’t handle the criticism of a 14 year old why do people idolize you? … They’re the only reason you are around.”

He elaborated further on Rolling Stone’s Nashville Now podcast, saying: “It wasn’t about not wanting to sign autographs … it’s about letting a 14-year-old kid rant, without saying, ‘get off my d—k.’ You’re bigger than that.” Adcock also accused Bryan of putting on a “mask” in his public life, though he admitted he’s never actually met him. “I ain’t his buddy, he ain’t my buddy. I ain’t met the guy. I don’t need him.”

So far, neither Bryan nor Adcock’s teams have officially commented on the festival incident.
