BST Hyde Park just dropped its first big headliner for 2026—and it’s none other than country music legend Garth Brooks. The superstar will hit the iconic Great Oak Stage on Saturday, June 27, 2026, marking his first U.K. performance since 1998. Tickets go on general sale Thursday, September 18 at 10am BST.
For fans, this is massive. Brooks isn’t just another country artist—he’s the guy who took the genre global. With career-defining hits like Friends in Low Places, The Dance, and If Tomorrow Never Comes, he’s sold more albums in the U.S. than anyone else, racking up 162 million sales and 20 Billboard #1 singles along the way. He’s also the only artist to score Top 5 country radio hits in five consecutive decades.
Brooks’ live shows are legendary, too. He helped turn country concerts into full-blown rock-style spectacles, from pyrotechnics to stadium-sized crowds. His 1997 Central Park concert pulled in more than a million fans, and his most recent stadium tour wrapped up with five sold-out nights in Dublin. Just this year, he finished a massive Las Vegas residency, selling nearly every ticket across 72 unique shows.
Now, nearly three decades after his last U.K. show, Brooks is finally making his return. “Announcing Garth Brooks as our first BST Hyde Park headliner for 2026 is a landmark moment,” said Jim King, CEO of AEG Presents. “His first U.K. performance in nearly three decades promises to be unforgettable.”
Expect more star-studded announcements soon—but if you want to see Garth, set those alarms.
