Well, we've got some answers for you. A recent survey asked over 15,000 people about some common pet peeves. And here's what they said:
- Abandoned Shopping Carts - Ever seen a cart just sitting next to the cart return, but not inside it? Well, a whopping 82% of folks think that's a valid annoyance. So, next time you're thinking of leaving your cart out, remember, the majority is silently judging you!
- TV Sync Issues - There's nothing like sitting down to watch your favorite show, only to notice the audio and video aren't syncing. 89% of respondents said this is a valid pet peeve. So, you're not alone in yelling at your TV, especially when the Commanders are on!
- Right On Red Dilemma - You're itching to turn right on red, but the car in front of you is waiting to go straight. 55% say they get you, it's annoying.
- Slowpokes in the Fast Lane - Oh boy, this one's a doozy. 93% believe it's okay to fume at someone driving under the speed limit in the fast lane.
- Eating Alone - Only 9% think you should be annoyed if someone eats around you while you're not. Maybe share a meal next time?
- Toilet Paper Debacle - This age-old debate of over vs. under just got some stats. 45% say it's valid to be annoyed when the toilet paper is on the "wrong" way, while 55% think we should all just chill out.
- The Dreaded Spinning Wheel - As the "spinning wheel of death" appears on your computer, 55% of people empathize with your annoyance. The rest? They think patience is a virtue.
- Checkout Woes - 80% think it's valid to be peeved when there's only one non-self-checkout lane open during peak hours. Grocery store managers, are you listening?
- Motorcycle Parking - Two motorcycles occupying two full-sized parking spots? 69% of us are nodding in agreement; that's just annoying.
- Complicated Coffee Orders - Lastly, when the person ahead of you at Starbucks takes an eternity with their order, 76% say it's okay to roll your eyes a bit.
