Miranda Lambert unveiled her first-ever signature guitar on Tuesday (August 8), a breathtaking blue instrument she hopes will serve as an inspiration to aspiring musicians, particularly young women.
The award-winning, powerhouse country artist shared the first photos of the Gibson Miranda Lambert Bluebird on Instagram. The “If I Was A Cowboy” star said in her Instagram caption that it’s a “dream come true” to debut her own version of “the classic Hummingbird.” Lambert added that she hopes her stunning new guitar “encourages musicians everywhere, especially young girls, to pick up a Bluebird and chase the same dream that guitars have made come true for me.”
Codey Allen, of Gibson, said in a statement in a press release issued on Tuesday that the company aims “to lift up the voices of artists who have shaped the sound of genres, and Miranda is a trailblazing artist that represents the best that country music has to offer. Her immense talent, authenticity, and dedication to the craft of songwriting, as well as her unwavering commitment to encourage more girls and women to play guitar are what inspired us to create the Miranda Lambert Bluebird Acoustic guitar.”
