Rocktown Beer and Music Festival will return April 22, 2023 from 3 – 8 PM at the Turner Pavilion in Downtown Harrisonburg, VA. The festival is presented by Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance (HDR) and sponsored by Harrisonburg breweries, Brothers Craft Brewing and Pale Fire Brewing Co.
The 2023 Rocktown Beer & Music Festival will build off past success by focusing on great craft beer, incredible music, and wonderful local food. Harrisonburg breweries, Brothers Craft Brewing and Pale Fire Brewing Co., will be joined by over 30 craft breweries from around the country, serving a wide variety of beer alongside cocktails, seltzers and ciders. Nationally touring musical acts, Sean K. Preston and Free Union, will get folks dancing and the great vibes flowing. Food will be available from Hank’s Grille and Catering, Chanello’s Pizza, Thirsty’s Burgers, and Just Fries.
Friends, Aaron Ludwig, Jack Brown’s Beer and Burger Joint, and Tim Brady, formally Pale Fire Brewing Co., conceived of Rocktown Beer and Music Festival and worked with Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance to host the inaugural festival in 2010. The first festival drew a crowd of over 3,000 people, making it one of the largest events in downtown Harrisonburg at that time. Rocktown Beer & Music Festival has since paved the way for other large community festivals – including Skeleton Festival, Best.Weekend.Ever., and Winter Wonderfest.
