Blake Shelton is sharing why the "Happy Anywhere" music video is so special to him.

In a recent interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the country star opened up about the process of making the video for his duet with longtime girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, while at home during the pandemic.

"Gwen's brother [Todd] was in quarantine with us too in Oklahoma and, I don't know why, over the years I've kinda become a video camera geek, even though I don't even know how to work these things," Shelton explained in the interview. "I've got a few cameras that I have no business owning, let's just be honest. But Todd's really good at that stuff."

The music video was created from over five years' worth of home video from Stefani's phone, along with several new shots captured by Todd.

"He edited that thing and put the video together, and it ends up being maybe my favorite video I've ever had," Shelton revealed. "It's just so honest and real, you know?"

Shelton and Stefani's love shines in the "Happy Anywhere" video, which can be seen below.

"Happy Anywhere," written by Ross Copperman, Josh Osborne and Matt Jenkins, focuses on how no matter where you are or what the circumstances might be, happiness is possible with the right person by your side.

"I’m running wide open/ I was born with my feet in motion," the couple sings in the chorus. "But since I met you, I swear/ I could be happy anywhere/ Any map dot location/ You’re always my destination/ You’re the only thing that I’m chained to/ I could be happy anywhere/ I could be happy anywhere with you."

Shelton and Stefani's new duet follows their multi-week No. 1 hit, "Nobody But You," from Shelton's Fully Loaded: God's Country album. Additionally, the pair has previously released "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" and "You Make It Feel Like Christmas" together.

The couple recently performed "Happy Anywhere" from California during the 2020 ACM Awards on September 16. Shelton was also honored that evening with the Single of the Year award for "God's Country." A full list of winners from the 55th annual ACM Awards can be seen here.
