Thomas Rhett Shares Sweet Anniversary Tribute To Wife Lauren

Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren Akins just celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary this past weekend on Saturday, October 12. In honor of their anniversary, Rhett turned to Instagram to share a heartfelt message to Lauren along with a photo of the couple fishing.

"I can't believe the Lord has blessed me with 7 amazing years of marriage with @laur_akins. It's tough to put into words how crazy the ride has been. We have changed and grown in so many ways and I literally find new ways to love you every single day," he writes. "There is no one in the world like you babe. You are the most amazing mother to our kids and you treat me way too good. I hope this picture is a glimpse into us getting old together. I love you honey."

On Sunday, Rhett continued to share the love on social media with a photo of him and Lauren arm-in-arm after the final show of his "Very Hot Summer Tour" in Nashville."I lied. This one right here just about sums it up," Rhett writes in the caption. "Thank you so much babe for being my rock and for loving me so good. You are my favorite person on the planet."

During the show on Saturday, Rhett gave his wife a shoutout as she watched the show from the audience with their two daughters. "I think we've made it," he says to her right before performing his hit song, "Life Changes." He also performed his unreleased song, "To The Guys That Date My Girls," a song written about the guys who will one day want to date his daughters.

The country singer and his wife met back in school and married in 2012. They adopted their first daughter, Willa Gray in May of 2017 and welcomed their second daughter, Ada James, in August of 2017. The couple is also currently expecting their third daughter.
