Kate Middleton Looks Like A Real-Life Cinderella In Sequined Gown And Tiara

Kate Middleton and Prince William attended the Queen's Annual Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday (Dec. 4) and the photos are delightful. The Duchess of Sussex looked like a real-life Cinderella in a light blue, fitted bespoke Jenny Packham gown, which was also embellished with crystals. The most regal part of her look, of course, is the Lover's Knot tiara. Kate's fond of this particular piece of royal jewelry and has been seen wearing it on various occasions. It was also a favorite of her late mother-in-law Princess Diana

It's rare that we get to see Kate all princess-ed out like this. While she always looks stylish AF, tiaras only get broken out for very special occasions. Royal watchers have been lucky, though, as Kate was photographed wearing the Lover's Knot tiara back in October for a state dinner held at Buckingham Palace. Thankfully, Queen Elizabeth has surprisingly started to allowed photographers into these important events, which lets us see our favorite royals dress the part.

Here's a full look at Kate's gorgeous Jenny Packham gown and Lover's Knot tiara:

And here's a peak of the back of the dress, as well as her simple yet elegant updo.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sadly were not in attendance at the diplomatic reception, though they were busy spreading Christmas cheer. We'll just have to wait and hope that one day Meghan and Kate will be photographed in gowns and tiaras together. Ultimate Princess Goals right there.
