Kelly Clarkson on The Voice: 'I Just Wanna Make a Streak of Winning'

Kelly Clarkson is in a winning state of mind.

The original American Idol winner and newest coach on The Voice tells E! News she has high hopes of securing a win on the hit NBC singing competition.

“I am gonna win The Voice. I hope I do,” she says. “It would suck to win [American Idol] and lose another one. I just wanna make a streak of winning.”

Kelly goes head-to-head in Season 14 on The Voice with veteran coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine as well as returning coach Alicia Keys. While she chose to work on The Voice over Idol, Kelly wishes the new cast of ABC’s installment of the longtime talent staple well.

“I think they'll do well," Kelly says of Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Katy Perry. “I mean, I think artists in general love helping other artists, right? Or the good ones. The ones that aren’t insecure or threatened.”

The Voice returns Monday, February 26 on NBC.
