A consumer watchdog is saying that fidget spinners may not be as harmless as you think.
World Against Toys Causing Harm is set to address these fad toys and others along with safety. Every year WATCH releases a list of unsafe summer playthings, but this year it includes more than that.
The announcement comes on the heels of authorities in Germany publicizing that they destroyed tons of the fidget toys because they were tested and small pieces came off, which could be a choking hazard. Last month, a Texas girl was rushed to the ER when a piece of one of the toys lodged in her throat.
