VIDEO: Injured Capitol Police Officer Throws First Pitch

The annual congressional baseball game is in the books...with the Democrats beating the Republican team, 11-2, but bipartisanship was the big winner at Nationals Park last night. The game took place just one day after a gunman opened fire on Republican lawmakers practicing for the charity game in Alexandria.

The opening pitch was thrown by David Bailey, one of two Capitol Police officers wounded while stopping the suspect.

The charity game raised over a million dollars for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington and other charities.
