A tweet from a teenager in Reno, Nevada is about to become the most retweeted of all time.
Back on April 5th, 16-year old Carter Wilkerson's tweeted the fast food chain Wendy's asking how many retweets he needed to get free chicken nuggets for a year. Wendy's responded with "18 million." Well, the viral sensation has spawned the hashtag 'NuggsForCarter' and over $100,000 worth of donations to Wendy's Dave Thomas Foundation.
The current record for most retweets is held by Ellen Degeneres, who has over 3.4 million retweets on a selfie from the Oscars in 2014.
