After denying it, Val Kilmer has confirmed being diagnosed with cancer.
The rumor picked up the steam last year when Michael Douglas said his onetime co-star had oral cancer, just as he once did. As far back as 2015, Val denied reports of a possible tumor. But in a recent Reddit AMA he responded to a fan's question about Michael Douglas's allegation. Val said, “He was probably trying to help me, cause press probably asked where I was these days, and I did have a healing of cancer. But my tongue is still swollen altho [sic] healing all the time. Because I don’t sound my normal self yet people think I may still be under the weather.”
Val didn't go into more detail, but it seems he's doing much better.
