Aaron Hernandez, the former New England Patriots star who was serving life without parole for a 2015 murder conviction, was found dead inside his cell early this morning.
Officials at the Souza Baranowski Correctional Facility in Massachusetts say Hernandez hanged himself with a bed sheet that he tied to his cell window. He was pronounced dead an hour later. Last Friday, Hernandez was cleared in a separate 2012 double-murder case.
