WATCH: Carrie Fisher Remembered at Star Wars Celebration

Carrie Fisher was remembered at the opening of Star Wars Celebration in Florida yesterday.

Star Wars creator George Lucas paid tribute to the star, who died in December. Of casting Carrie as Princess Leia, George said, "She was very strong, very smart, very  funny, very bold, very tough, and there really wasn’t much of a  question. There are not very many people like her. They are one in a  billion."

Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy also talked about the actress, and her daughter Billie Lourd introduced a tribute video to her mother that featured the first footage of Carrie on the set of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
