This is Your Last Chance to See Dorothy's Ruby Red Slippers for a While

There's no place like the National Museum of American History if you want to see Dorothy's ruby red slippers, but time is running out.

The Smithsonian says the authentic props from the 1939 movie will be taken off-display starting on April 24th. The sequined shoes will then undergo a year-long conservation project. An online crowdfunding  campaign last fall raised over 300-thousand dollars towards the project.

In case you are wondering, the shoes worn by Judy Garland are size five!
