Ready or not, bathing suit season is right around the corner. And while there will always be a place for timeless swimwear in trusty colors like black, navy and green, the hottest trend for bathing suits this summer is neon colors.
Bikinis in highlighter shades have been spotted on celebs like Salma Hayek, Jessica Simpson, Hailey Bieber and Kourtney Kardashian recently. They all seem to prefer one specific color - neon green - but we’ll be seeing the look on beaches and poolside in hues from bright pink to citrusy orange.
While this may be Neon Summer, the shades aren’t for everyone, but you may want to step out of your comfort zone if you want to be on-trend. The vivid colors can even boost your mood and that bright green color is supposed to look good on all skin tones, and really accentuates a tan. Is neon bold and in-your-face? Sure, but it’s a bathing suit, not a sofa, so you can have fun with it without a long-term commitment.
