Skipping parties is an important part of life. Because obviously what's important isn't to GO to parties, it's to know you were invited to them.
A new survey asked people what kinds of parties they're most likely to SKIP. And it found that introverts and extroverts both skip parties...but they skip very different ones.
Introverts are most likely to avoid going to pool parties...coworkers' birthdays...and their friends' kids' birthdays.
Extroverts are most likely to skip baby showers and bridal showers.
In other words, introverts skip parties where they probably won't know that many people, which might force them to have to interact with strangers...and extroverts skip parties that sound super boring.
The survey also found that introverts are twice as likely to TELL someone they're not planning to hit up their party...extroverts keep their options open by not giving a definite "no."
