A new study has found that the best way to choose your profile picture is to have a complete stranger do it for you.
That makes some sense BUT can also be very tough to do. We just got our station pictures back and I had few people help me pick the ones that would be used. Everyone I asked chose one photo in particular that was not on my list. I ended up adding it even though it's not my favorite.

Researchers in Australia found that people make terrible choices when selecting flattering photos of themselves for online profiles. So, if you want to put your best face forward and enjoy as much success out there on social media, just ask someone else to choose your picture.
